I have extensive experience tutoring students who are preparing for the SAT, TOEFL iBT, and the IELTS. I also tutor middle school and high school students who are taking a variety of English courses such as writing, American literature, world literature, and reading. Furthermore , I work with students who are taking courses as part of the Advanced Placement (AP) program in related fields such as AP English Language and Composition. I am passionate about teaching. For me, tutoring is an opportunity to help students improve their academic skills and performance in order to able to achieve their learning goals. Working with a student individually makes it possible to customize the instructional style and content more precisely so it is targeting their specific concerns in a way that is not possible in a classroom setting.

I earned my undergraduate degree in English language and literature. I have also earned a TESOL Diploma and a TEFL Certificate.
